QAQC Coordinator

 

Overview

The QAQC Coordinator will work closely with the QAQC Manager to ensure the implementation and maintenance of a system of quality across all the company's electrical installations. The QAQC Coordinator will help ensure that all work is installed and completed in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, company standards, and industry standards.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of processes to ensure that all electrical installations meet required specifications, codes, company standards, and industry standards under the guidance of the QAQC Manager.
  • Collaborate with the QAQC Manager to communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team and field staff.
  • Support the QAQC Manager in maintaining compliance with NEC and local municipalities.
  • Work with the QAQC Manager to identify and implement measures to consistently reduce labor costs through efficiency and team development.
  • Uphold company standards with safety, quality, and efficiency and assist in applying company policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Assist the QAQC Manager in focusing on the continued development and growth of field leadership through coaching, mentoring, delegating, and elevating.
  • Support the QAQC Manager in motivating the team through daily interaction and leading by example.

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a related field required with supervisory experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with various software platforms such as but not limited to Microsoft Office suite, KPA, Procore, Bluebeam, BIM360, Revitt & Navisworks, IOS numbers, IOS notes, etc.
  • Completion of a state-recognized apprenticeship is preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift over 50 lbs.
