IT Technician



The IT Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing computer systems. The duties also include user support and training. The success of the IT Technician is measured by timely resolution of technical issues, customer satisfaction and the implementation of proactive measures to prevent future problems. This position is essential in maintaining the overall productivity of the company by providing technical support to all departments.



  • Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, printers, laptops, mobile devices, AV equipment, and network equipment.
  • Install and manage workstations and related hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Source and procure standard IT hardware for users.
  • Manage and update technical documentation and procedures.
  • Provide user training and assistance for hardware, software, and essential technologies.
  • Offer insights to IT management for streamlining user experiences and minimizing issues.
  • Keep current with technological advancements, proposing enhancements and upgrades.



  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Technician or related role.
  • High proficiency in common PC and mobile operating systems.
  • Strong foundation in computers, networks, printers, and relevant IT hardware.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude.
  • Innately motivated, exhibiting robust planning, execution, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Capable of handling computer equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Openness to local travel for on-site support at project locations.
  • Certifications such as Comp TIA A+ or Network+ are advantageous.
