Overview

The Prefabrication Manager plays a vital role in optimizing efficiency and quality within our operations. This position oversees a prefab team who is responsible for prefabricating electrical components to be used on our projects. The Prefab Manager ensures seamless coordination, effective resource management, and adherence to industry standards, contributing to the success of our projects and overall business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the prefab team in the efficient prefabrication of electrical construction components.
  • Collaborate with project management to align prefab tasks with project requirements and timelines.
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate resources to optimize prefab productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain quality control by ensuring prefabricated components adhere to design specifications and codes.
  • Implement and enhance workflow processes to improve prefab efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage prefab materials inventory and collaborate with procurement for timely availability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Prefab Leads, promoting continuous skill development.
  • Create a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance prefab operations.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of electrical construction experience, with a focus on prefab operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality prefab components.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Adaptability to evolving project requirements and priorities.
  • Familiarity with prefab software and tools is advantageous.
